PAOLO NOBILI born in Tolentino in 1959, started his music studies at the age of six and improved them at the “Conservatory G. Rossini” in Pesaro and then at the “Conservatory G. B. Martini” in Bologna, where he got his degree in 1977. In the same year he was chosen to take part in the Italian Youth Orchestra in Siena, where he was the leading trumpet. He has played leading trumpet in the Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana, where he has also played as soloist, in Italy and abroad, and made some broadcast recordings.

Since 1977 as 1984 he has taken part as member of the orchestra in the “opera seasons” organized by the Arena Sferisterio in Macerata. He has performed in concerts with a chamber group and has also taken part in various jazz performances. In 1980 he formed the duo Nobili-Ferrante (trumpet and organ) particularly interested in the research and performance of baroque music. In the same year Nobili contributed to the establishment of the Music Institute Nicola Vaccaj in Tolentino, where he is currently the trumpet teacher as well as Curriculum Coordinator and Artistic Manager of the Music Festival International “Music and Art.”
